Most of it is information on what to watch out for in a home based business, but down in the comments, you will find two links to two different sites that I know to be legit and they offer a variety of jobs…. Dont know if any will be a good fit for you, but it is a start.

I know this is something you don’t want to hear but I think you really have your work cut out for you. It is difficult to find a really good work at home job. My wife has been trying for a long time with no luck and as you stated almost all of her responses were SCAMS. Be careful and don’t get sucked in. Good luck.
Don’t bother with the web. All you will get are scams. Go to http://www.jobbankinfo.org/ where you will find all sorts of jobs.
You would need to apply for jobs and tell them that you have to telecommute. Another option is a pet sitting business..I do that and do pretty well.
