There are a lot of scams in Pet Society that you should be looking out for. As scary as that may sound, it doesn’t need to be a serious problem. For the most part these scams can be avoided with simple common sense – something most players have plenty of. The problem though is that the desire to excel and move forward in a game that has so many marks of status is too great to stop and think about the problems that might arise from moving too quickly. If you’re not careful, you may not be able to focus in on what you are doing and whether or not the deal you’re getting is in fact too good to be true.

Which Scams in Pet Society Are There?

To start with, players are going to try and start up trades with you out of the blue. This should be an immediate red flag. If you don’t know someone, have never seen them before and don’t know why they are trying to trade you for a Mystery Box, you may need to step back and ask yourself what they really want.

Another possible scam is people setting up shop on the forums or their own blog and making it look like they have a long history of trading. This is very simple to fake and you should look for a way to personally verify their history. Just because someone lists players they’ve traded with doesn’t mean they really did or that you’ll be able to find any of those people when you search for them in the game – there are more than 10 million players of this game after all.

How to Avoid Scams in Pet Society?

To avoid scams in Pet Society, you need to do three very simple things. First, pay attention. Don’t let anyone trick you because you’re too eager to get something that you probably won’t actually receive. Second, do your research. If a stranger wants to make a trade, ask for references or Google their character name. And third, try to stick with people you know. The best route is always to just steer clear of strangers altogether. Do this and you will know for a fact that you are not going to get scammed.

If you take your time, think about what you are facing and what tricky factors might influence how you are playing the game, you will usually find that the majority of Pet Society scams can be easily avoided. Look for players you can trust, only make trades you are comfortable with and if it looks too good to be true, it probably is. Keep all that in mind and you can bet that you will almost never need to worry about being taken advantage of.

I’ve spent three years reviewing, analyzing, and providing content for Adult Dating Sites; and I’ve seen every trick in the book. Here are the most common pitfalls to avoid when you’re considering which Adult Dating Site to join.

Before I point out the dirty tricks and scams that some of these sites use to pilfer your wallet, let me define what I mean by an “Adult Dating Site”… these are sites that cater to adults who are looking to hook-up for sex. Call it what you will: Casual Encounters, Intimate Encounters, Bootycalls, or what ever – it’s all the same… S-E-X.

So what are some of the tricks employed by some these sites? Here are the four most common scams:

1) FAKE PROFILES – It’s astonishing to me how many adult dating sites use fake profiles to lure you in. Many of the most popular sites have been accused of populating their sites with literally millions of phony profiles to give the appearance of having more members than the actually do. It’s a flat-out-lie! This trick is becoming a little less common as most users have figured this scam out and realize that there really aren’t 1,600 raging nymphos living with a square mile of one another.

2) AUTOMATED CHAT ROOMS – This scam is typically reserved for the larger sites that want to give the illusion (urg LIE) that their chat rooms are teaming with women. In reality, these sites run an automated software program that post pre-scripted postings and racy content for the sole purpose of fooling y-o-u. It’s easy to spot the fakes by asking them to post their favorite color or asking them what the weathers like in their area. You’ll know it’s a phony when their only reply is, “I’m so horny”. Hmm, I haven’t heard the weather man say ‘partly cloudy with a chance of horny’ before. Although that’d be worth seeing!

3) PHONEY EMAILS – Another dirty trick is the use of phony emails. These emails are sent by a software script and target non-paying members. They are usually benin and say things like, “Hi, wanna chat?” or “Hey, I noticed you’re in my area!” They are designed to entice the non-paying member to cough up the dough to read/reply to the email. It’s funny how the fake emails quit coming once you’re paid for a membership. Hmm, funny how that works isn’t it?

4) REPEATING BILLING – This one is personal pet-peeve of mine! I can’t stand this tactic and I think it should be illegal!! This is the scam where you buy a one month membership and after it expires they charge you for a second month. As if that isn’t sleazy enough, they’ll keep on billing you month-after-month until you contact them and raise hell about it. BE SURE TO READ THE TERMS OF SERVICE before buying any membership! This is the key to understand exactly what you’re signing-up for an how you’ll be billed. Don’t let yourself fall victim to this theft…oops I mean ‘trick’.

Before you think that ALL sites are the same and they’re all out to empty your wallet; rest assured there are some good ones out there. If I had to recommend one, it would have to be CarnalFriends.com.

DISCLAIMER HERE: I am an actual member on CarnalFriends and use it to post my personal adult blogs.

CarnalFriends doesn’t use any of the dirty tricks listed above, nor any other dirty tricks that I can tell. The members there are real, the emails are real, and they only bill you for the services you’ve purchased. (what a novel concept!).

So as you consider which site to join, I encourage you to shop around, take your time and make the right decision that suits your personal needs.

Good luck and be safe,

Tiffany

Although there are many very honest and excellent insurance companies and agents, there are also some who want to take away as much of your money as possible whilst giving you little or no real cover. It is important that you know about some of the various insurance scams and how to avoid them, as this will save you money and also give you the peace of mind that you are covered should anything happen and you need to claim.

Misleading policies

Perhaps the biggest insurance scam to avoid is being suckered into buying a policy that you don’t really want or that does not give you what you have asked for. This sort of scam is often the hardest to avoid, because it is not just a case of people tricking you on purpose. You can also be the victim of insurance sales people who simply don’t listen to your needs and don’t have the right expertise to help you. If you are offered a policy but it seems confusing or not what you want, then don’t sign for it.

Claims denied

One problem that people find when they use a poor insurance company is that when they need to claim back off their insurance their claim is denied. Some insurance companies simply don’t have the money to pay out your claim, and hope that you will never need to claim for such large amounts. Before buying any type of insurance make sure that you research the insurer and confirm that they can and will pay out for eligible claims.

Unnecessary clauses

One problem that many people have is that they end up with an insurance policy that gives them cover for things that they have no use for. For example, you might get some travel insurance but end up paying £15 more for it because it includes extreme sports cover. Many insurers use the technique of including everything that you may or may not need and hope that you won’t query these items. Make sure that before you sign any agreement you look at what you are covered for, and if there are things you know that you don’t need then get them removed. This may help you get a lower price for your insurance.

Too much small print

Another way that insurers can trick you is by putting the important issues of your insurance in the smallest print possible. These insurers hope that you will not read this small print or will overlook something that is making them extra money or leaving you without cover. Again, check all of the clauses in the contract, especially the small print. If there is anything you don’t like then get it changed or do not sign.

Insurance you don’t know about

One of the most frequently used ploys is to sell you insurance that you don’t even know you are paying for. This is usually done by lending institutions that include payment protection insurance in your loan payments without your explicit knowledge, meaning that you pay for insurance that you might not want or even need. If you get a loan make sure you are not paying extra for insurance that you don’t need. If you read through things carefully and seek good independent advice then you won’t be caught out by these insurance scams.

Most pet owners today know that when taking your pet to a vet it will often cost a much larger sum than anticipated. Maybe your pet will need a vaccine because the local area is infected with a new type of disease or bacteria or you have forgotten that you pet needed some kind of treatment to keep it healthy. This is often the case and the result is a bill that a lot of people can have a hard time paying out of their pocket. This is where it can be money well spent to have a pet insurance.

The purpose of a pet insurance is naturally to help the owner of the pet in case it becomes ill or is involved in some kind of accident. If you think that Vets are costly you should try sending your pet to an animal hospital. Then you can talk about having to bring the large wallet when paying the bills. Unfortunately this is where the problems often arise and the looser in this game will always be your beloved pet.

What if you are not able to pay the bill? Rarely does someone show up to pay your bills and the tough choice that you will have to make is to leave your pet without the right medical care and attention. Most pets are a part of the family and if you have kids you will have a hard time explaining why it is that the family pet will have to suffer from either a disease or an accident it has been involved in. The worst part is though, that if you had taken the time to prepare before all the bad things happened, you would have no troubles sending your family pet to both the vet and to the animal hospital if necessary.

The solution is of course to get a pet insurance. The idea of an insurance is that by paying a little every month, half year or year, you will be able to send most bill to the insurance company and have them pay for the correct treatment of you pet’s illnesses. One important thing to notice is that you need to check the terms and conditions stated in the policy of the pet insurance before you sign it.

Most insurance companies are fair but the insurance business can be tricky and you will need to watch out so you won’t get scammed. A safer bet will always be to go for one of the major companies as they will have much more at stake and thereby much more to loose if they trick their customers and thereby gets bad publicity. For a major insurance company a bad publicity stunt can easily cost millions of dollars and they will therefore be more likely to favor your requests. However you should never be unreasonable or lie for that matter. It will come back to hunt you later on.

If you are not wealthy and do not have big savings but you love your pet and you don’t want to see anything bad happen to it, then pet insurance is for you. If you go online you will find many insurance companies that will offer to insure your pet, but you need to do some research before you sign a contract. It is recommended to use the internet and to talk to people that have already used the service you are thinking of buying for your pet. We wish you a happy hunt.
